Recipients of this award are third to fifth year student-athletes who enriched the Mountaineers high-performance program through achievement, leadership, community involvement and academics. These athletes are presented with their Mountaineer jersey framed.  
Wes Hicks Outstanding Male Athlete of the Year

Albert Lanting (cross country) Named after a former Mohawk Athletic Director, this award is presented to the male athlete(s) who had the overall best performance across the athletic department.

Male Freshman Athlete of the Year Brecken Morrison (men's volleyball) This award is presented to a male student-athlete who had the best performance across the athletic department among first-year athletes.
Female Freshman Athlete of the Year Raina Hartnell (cross country) This award is presented to a female student-athlete who had the best performance across the athletic department among first-year athletes.
Laurie Cahill Head Coach of the Year Betty Calic (curling) Named after a former Mohawk Athletic Director, this award is presented to the head coach who guided their team to an outstanding season and pushed their student-athletes to new heights.
Bernetta Scime Assistant Coach of the Year Simon Ouellet (curling) Named after a former varsity athlete officer at Mohawk, this award is presented to an assistant coach who worked hard behind the scenes to help their respective team succeed, while helping each student-athlete improve everyday.
High Performance Team of the Year Women's Basketball This award honours the team that consistently exceeded expectations, setting new standards of excellence in the weight room. Through dedication, discipline, and a commitment to improving fitness, they pushed the limits of their physical performance and inspired others to elevate their own standards. This team's collective effort embodies the true spirit of growth and teamwork.

This award is presented to the athlete(s) that best upheld the standards of the Mountaineers culture pyramid. These athletes have grit, are resilient, take initiative in their community involvement, and are tenacious in their respective sports. These athletes fully embody every aspect of what it means to be a student-athlete and a Mountaineer.
 
Michelle Harkness Department of Athletics Award Ben Temple (men's soccer) This award recognizes a student-athlete who showed outstanding participation in both varsity and campus recreation programs. The award is named after Michelle Harkness, who was a true champion and active supporter of student life.
Dr. Keith McIntyre Leadership Award Maggie Galand (women's basketball) Named after a former Mohawk president, this award is presented to a person who showed outstanding leadership qualities that have contributed toward the enrichment, support, development and enhancement of student life at Mohawk.
Barb Moore Spirit of Athletics Award Rainier Cor
Kai Takach
Named after Barb Moore, who was part of the Mohawk Student Life Department for over 20 years, this award is given to an individual who as a non-varsity participant played a valued role in the Athletics and Recreation Department.
Mountaineers Media Award Benny Hoang This award is presented to a non-varsity participant who helped advance the Mountaineers Sports Information and social media portfolios.
Athlete Scholar of the Year Emma Becke (women's volleyball) This award is presented to the athlete who had the highest-grade point average among all athletes.
Team Scholastic Award TBA This award is given to the Mountaineer team who attained the highest-grade point average among all team members.
