Jenny Pellegrino

Background:
Jenny Pellegrino was announced as the 12th head coach in Mohawk Mountaineers women's volleyball history prior to the 2024-25 season.

Prior to taking over the head coaching duties, Pellegrino was the lead assistant for Mohawk during the 2023-24 season and spent 2019-2023 as the lead assistant for the Niagara Knights. She also has nearly two decades of coaching experience on the club side, currently working with the Hamilton Smash Raiders.
 
Additionally, Pellegrino has coached with Team Ontario the last seven years which has included time with the Ontario Summer Games program and Team Ontario White and Red. In the summer of 2024, Pellegrino coached Team O Red at the 2023 Canada Cup, winning gold in the 16U white division.

In 2020, Pellegrino was named the Sandy Silver Coach of the Year by the Ontario Volleyball Association.

At Mohawk:

2024-25 Season:
Pellegrino led the Mountaineers to a strong start as the team won their first seven matches of the season. Injuries impacted the teams second half as they earned a postseason spot in the OCAA, but were eliminated in the crossover round.
