Box Score SUDBURY – Noah Bouchard set a new career-high for service aces in a single match with eight as the Mohawk Mountaineers defeated the Boreal Vipers 3-0 (25-20, 25-18, 25-19).

With the win the Mountaineers record returns to .500 at 6-6.

Bouchard's (Oakville, ON) previous best for services aces in a match was two, accomplished multiple times during his time with Mohawk. The second-year setter also had a team-high eight assists in the match versus Boreal.

Ethan May (Dunnville, ON) had a team-high five kills, meanwhile Dean Zicari (Burlington, ON) and Alex Jurak (St. Catharines, ON) both contributed four kills each. Adrian Delos Reyes (Burlington, ON) had seven digs defensively for the Mountaineers.

Mohawk will remain in Sudbury for one more day as they will play the Cambrian Golden Shield on Jan. 13 at 3 p.m.
