Clean sweep victory to begin 2024 for Mountaineers

Mohawk picks up eighth win of the season over Boreal

Thea Spasic provided five kills in a win over Boreal
Box Score SUDBURY – Mohawk Mountaineers women's volleyball picked up a clean 3-0 (25-11, 25-17, 25-21) sweep over the Boreal Vipers to begin the second half of the 2023-24 season.
 
Thirteen different Mountaineers saw the floor in the contest with Sofia Spoljar (Hamilton, ON) and Rachel Vanderwal (Hamilton, ON) leading the way with seven kills each. Spoljar also had 17 digs and two service aces in three sets played.
 
Mohawk improves their record to 8-4 with the victory.
 
Up next will be another matchup in Sudbury for the Mountaineers as they'll visit the Cambrian Golden Shield on Jan. 13. Match time is scheduled for 1 p.m.
