Mountaineers allow three first half goals in loss

HAMILTON, Ont. – Mohawk Mountaineers men's soccer lost their fifth straight, falling to the Sheridan Bruins 3-0.
 
All three of Sheridan's goals came in the first half of the match.
 
The Mountaineers had some scoring chances in the second half, but could only target seven shots for the entire match.
 
Despite the losing streak Mohawk continues to hold a playoff spot with three games remaining.
 
Next up for the Mountaineers is an Oct. 4 matchup versus the Humber Hawks at Tim Hortons Field. Game time is scheduled for 4 p.m.
