The game was one-sided from the beginning with the Mountaineers jumping out to a 10-2 lead. Redeemer cut the lead to three with under four minutes in the first quarter, but Mohawk ended the frame with a 29-20 lead.

Mohawk ended the half on a 14-2 run and went into halftime leading 64-41. In the third the Mountaineers kept pouring it on with a 26-point quarter, extending their lead by eight, en route to their win.

As a team Mohawk shot 54.1 per cent from the field for the game, despite struggle from three (five-of-17). The Mountaineers forced 22 turnovers for 29-points.

Marko Dosen (Hamilton, Ont.) scored a team-high 25-points on eight-of-12 shooting and a perfect eight-of-eight from the free throw line. Jerry Jr. Mercury (Scarborough, Ont.) came off the bench to score 22. Iverson Chong (Oakville, Ont.) and Eltom Adam (Hamilton, Ont.) both added 14 each.
