Mountaineers lose OCAA quarter-final match to Lords

For the second consecutive year Mohawk’s playoff run ends at the hands of Durham

Box Score (OSHAWA) – Mohawk Mountaineers women's soccer could not solve the Durham Lords, losing the OCAA quarter-final match 1-0.
 
It was the second year in a row the Mountaineers and Lords met in the quarter-final game and once again it was Durham coming away with the victory.
 
The shots on goal favoured Mohawk 5-4 and overall shots also favoured the Mountaineers 8-5.
 
Durham's lone goal came in the 56th minute and Mohawk could not counter.
 
The Mountaineers had an impressive regular season with a 6-2-2 record, and received seven OCAA all-star honours as well they were named the west division best defensive team.
