HAMILTON, Ont. – Madison Rodriguez of the Mohawk Mountaineers women's soccer team has been named to the OCAA West Division All-Rookie Team, the conference announced Thursday.

Rodriguez was the lone member of the Mountaineers to receive year-end recognition.

The first-year forward appeared in 10 games during the 2025 season, recording two goals and three assists to lead Mohawk in total points.

Rodriguez demonstrated strong ball control and vision throughout the season, creating scoring opportunities for her teammates while showing the ability to score from anywhere on the pitch. She also proved to be one of the top corner-kick specialists in the OCAA.

Rodriguez becomes the first Mountaineer named to the All-Rookie Team since the award was introduced by the OCAA in 2024.
