Hadley’s third shutout guides No. 15 Mountaineers to win

Mohawk picks up sixth win

Box Score (KITCHENER) – No. 15 nationally ranked Mohawk Mountaineers women's soccer improved their record to 6-1 following a 1-0 win over the Conestoga Condors.

With the victory, the Mountaineers have surpassed their win total from a season ago and reached six wins in a season for the first time since 2017.

Mia Hadley (Milton, ON) picked up her third win and shutout of the season making six saves in the match versus Conestoga.

Mohawk had 20 total shots as a team and six of them were on goal. They would finally find the back of the net in the 57^th minute thanks to Cassandra Campanella's (Hamilton, ON) second of the season.

The Mountaineers will now get a week off before returning to action on Oct. 7 when they play the Sheridan Bruins in Oakville, ON. The match is scheduled for 12 p.m.
