HAMILTON, Ont. – The Mohawk Mountaineers men's basketball team will travel to Nanaimo, B.C., on March 16 for the CCAA Men's Basketball National Championship, which tips off two days later.
It marks the first time since 2016 the Mountaineers have reached the national tournament, and there will be plenty of support from back home in Hamilton. For those following along, here is a guide to the week ahead.
Opening game
Mohawk will face the Keyano Huskies in the first quarter-final game of the tournament. Tipoff is scheduled for March 18 at 4 p.m. ET.
With a win, the Mountaineers would advance to the national semi-final on March 19 at 9 p.m. ET.

All CCAA national championship games will be streamed on ccaalive.ca/mensbasketball. The CCAA broadcast operates on a subscription model. An all-access package is available for $24.99, while a single-day pass costs $14.99.
