Mohawk loses second match over last three

Box Score (Ancaster) – A four set match was not in favour of Mohawk Mountaineers women's volleyball, losing 3-1 (22-25, 22-25, 25-11, 24-26) to the Redeemer Royals.

The Mountaineers dug themselves a hole losing the opening two sets by three points each. Mohawk began to show their dominance in the third set, winning 25-11, but the Mountaineers could not keep the match going in the fourth set.

Lexie Zicari (Burlington, ON) had a team-leading 13 kills for the Mountaineers to go along with a season-high seven aces and six digs. Sofia Spoljar (Hamilton, ON) added 10 kills, four aces and six digs.

Mohawk will return to the DBARC for their next match when they host the Sheridan Bruins on Nov. 22 at 6 p.m.
