2024 Season Preview: Mountaineers Men’s Lacrosse Sixes

HAMILTON, Ont. – The Mohawk Mountaineers men's lacrosse sixes program will make its official on-field debut next week.

Becoming the first-ever college lacrosse sixes program in Canada, the Mountaineers first year will feature matchups versus opponents from the Canadian University Field Lacrosse Association (CUFLA) and local men's senior club teams.

Andy Secore – a former National Lacrosse League player – will lead Mohawk as the head coach with Trevor Barrett and Nick Crepinsek as assistants.

"We're excited to take the field for the first time and build something special from the ground up," Secore said. "This season is all about establishing our culture, developing our identity, and setting the foundation for future success."

The Mountaineers 2024 roster features 12 athletes who have played at all different levels of lacrosse, and have represented local teams such as the Hamilton Bengals, Six Nations Rebels and Burlington Blaze.
