Mountaineers lacrosse sixes announces 2025 recruiting class

HAMILTON, Ont. – The Mohawk Mountaineers men's lacrosse sixes program has announced its 2025 recruiting class, which includes a former National Lacrosse League draft pick and two junior B standouts.
 
The Mountaineers' lacrosse sixes program is entering its third year as it continues its growth as a pioneering initiative in Canadian collegiate sport.
 
Joining the team are Duncan Carte (Hamilton, Ont.), Brad Green (Six Nations) and Tayler Mara (Sarnia, Ont.).

Carte was selected in the fifth round of the 2023 NLL entry draft by the Buffalo Bandits. He also played NCAA Division II lacrosse with Felician University. The six-foot-two defender captained Poland's world junior team in 2019 and 2022, earning first-team all-defender honours.
 

Green joins the Mountaineers from the Hamilton Bengals Jr. B program and Mara comes from the Point Edward Pacers Jr. B team.
 
Carte will study in esports administration at Mohawk, Green will enrol in police foundations and Mara will pursue graphic design.
