Mountaineers lose in four sets to Condors

First half of 2023-24 season concludes for Mohawk

Box Score HAMILTON – Mohawk Mountaineers men's volleyball lost to the Conestoga Condors 3-1 (25-19, 23-25, 11-25, 9-25).
 
The Mountaineers protected home court with a first set win, but after the Condors stole the second set it all began to fall apart for Mohawk. Conestoga would have complete control throughout sets three and four.
 
Three men on the Mountaineers finished with six kills apiece which included Jashae Lawrence (Calgary, AB), Dean Zicari (Burlington, ON) and Jacob Gasiorowski (Hamilton, ON).
 
The first half of the 2023-24 season is now over for Mohawk as they'll end into the holiday break with a record of 5-6.
 
Second half action will begin Jan. 12 when the Mountaineers will be on the road to play the Boreal Vipers at 8 p.m.
