Men’s Basketball adds 6’5 wing Paul Omofoma from Calgary

HAMILTON, Ont. – Mohawk Mountaineers men's basketball head coach Jamie Girolametto is pleased to announce the addition of 6'5 wing Paul Omofoma from Calgary, AB, to the 2025-26 roster.

Omofoma joins the Mountaineers from the Supreme Hoops Canada program and St. Mary's High School, where he played a key role in a dominant run of success. During his high school career, he helped lead St. Mary's to three Division 1 City Championships and three appearances in the Alberta Schools' Athletic Association (ASAA) 4A provincial finals – capturing the provincial title in 2023-24.

"We are very excited to welcome Paul to our squad," said Girolametto. "As a 6'5 athlete with great versatility and will fill a key role we've been targeting. He's coming from a winning high school program and a highly respected club in Calgary. We are all excited for his arrival."

Omofoma will be studying Business at Mohawk College beginning in September.
