Mountaineers women’s basketball adds experienced guard Kate Ross

HAMILTON, Ont. – Mohawk Mountaineers women's basketball head coach Mihai Raducanu has finalized his 2025 recruiting class with the addition of experienced guard Kate Ross (Hamilton, Ont.).

The 5'6 Ross brings collegiate experience to the Mountaineers, having competed in the 2021-22 season with the St. Thomas University Tommies in the Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association. She appeared in 10 games during her time with the Tommies.

"I am very excited to have Kate Ross join our team," said Raducanu. "She is a true Hamiltonian who comes from a basketball family. Kate will bring maturity, leadership, basketball IQ and her gritty Hamilton tough mentality."

Ross will begin studying in the Community and Social Services Management program at Mohawk this fall.
