HAMILTON, Ont. – Marko Dosen of the Mohawk Mountaineers men's basketball team has been named a CCAA All-Canadian, the OCAA announced Thursday as part of its 2025-26 season awards.
Dosen becomes the ninth CCAA All-Canadian in program history (10th selection overall).
Teammate Paul Omofoma also earned recognition, as the first-year wing was named to the OCAA West Division All-Rookie Team.
In addition to his national honour, Dosen was named an OCAA West Division First Team All-Star. It marks the second straight season the fourth-year forward has earned all-star recognition after being named to the second team in 2024-25.
Dosen is the first Mountaineers men's basketball player to be named a CCAA All-Canadian in 11 years. He joins Maddie Anderson of the women's basketball team as Mohawk's second All-Canadian this season, marking the first time since 2014-15 the college has had two All-Canadians in the same year. It is also the first time in 43 years that two basketball players from Mohawk have received the honour in the same season.
Dosen appeared in 15 games in 2025-26, averaging 16.5 points per game (15th in the OCAA) and 8.4 rebounds (seventh) in 23.8 minutes per game. He shot 53.8 per cent from the field and 77 per cent from the free-throw line.
Omofoma appeared in 18 games with four starts in his rookie season. He averaged 3.9 points and 2.8 rebounds in 10.6 minutes per game. Over the final six games of the season, his role increased, as he averaged 17.5 minutes, seven points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.7 steals.
The Mountaineers continue their playoff run Feb. 28 when they visit the Centennial Colts for the OCAA quarterfinals at 3 p.m.
