Men’s basketball adds local six-foot guard

HAMILTON, Ont. – As the Mohawk Mountaineers men's basketball team prepares for the 2026-27 season and its role as host of the 2027 CCAA Men's Basketball National Championship, head coach Jamie Girolametto has announced the program's first recruit signing of the 2026 off-season.
 
Joining the Mountaineers is local guard Joshua Granger of Cathedral High School.

Notable career highlights:

Granger is a two-time Athlete of the Year at Cathedral High School, where he played multiple sports.
