George Morasse led the Mountaineers Ice Hockey team with a hard nosed approach, from 1967 to 1970 from the defensive position. A natural leader, George captained the team from 1968 to 1970 and led the team to the OCAA gold medal game in 1970. He was an active member of the President Athletics Council, the forerunner to the Students' Athletics Committee (SAC).
