Paul Stratford's athletic accomplishments began while he was a student at Mohawk as a member of the 1971 and 1972 OCAA Men's Team Cross Country Champions. After graduation, Paul continued his cross country career as coach from 1981 to 1989. During his coaching career, Paul's record included four OCAA Men's team championships from 1983 to 1987, eight OCAA Women's team championships from 1982 to 1989 and five individual Men's and Women's champions. Paul was not only an outstanding recruiter of cross country runners but also an avid supporter of the entire athletic program.
